Washington State residents celebrated the 31^st Anniversary of TPLF formation.

On March 25, 2006, over 500 supporters, volunteers, and contributors from Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver, Canada gathered to honor our fallen heroes and to celebrate the 31^st anniversary of the formation of the TPLF and the struggle to free its citizens from oppression, deprivation of basic human rights, illiteracy and to celebrate their extraordinary accomplishments.  The Victory Celebration was alive with poetry reading, fine food, drinks, and live music entertainment.

It was evident from attendees’ excitements, non stop dancing, music, laughter and joyful greetings filled the air with exciting and festive celebration that brought the best out of everyone.  We were also honored with an unexpected and personal visit by Mr. Meseret Gebremariam, member of TPLF central committee.  Our guest was equally elated by the level of enthusiasm, discipline, and unity he had observed at the function and in the surrounding Seattle area.

Overall, the function ended peacefully with great joy and spontaneous gaiety.
