Thought For Today
"Never again clutter your days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as work. A day merely survived is no cause for celebration. You are not here to fritter away your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in your routine. No more busy work. No more hiding from success. Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!" by Og Mandino

Nazert.com Bold Statement!! Way to go! Perhaps there is light
at the end of the tunnel when it comes to clarity of purpose
from the Diaspora media outlets. We all should take notice on
those who have sided with the killers. They should not go unpunished
for siding with the enemy of our mother land! onlf

"Over all, the brave
ONLF fighters should be congratulated for a job well done. ONLF
and OLF might also want to consider carrying out similar operations
on Al Amoudi's gold mines that are cash cows for the Woyanne terrorist
regime." Ato Elias Kifle from Ethiopian Review
China, Ethiopia in 200-million-dollar telecom deal
SHANGHAI (AFP) - China's ZTE announced a 200-million-dollar deal with Ethiopia's state-owned telecoms group just ahead of the release of seven abducted Chinese workers in the African nation, a statement said Monday
Kil Leadership, we stand by our unimpeachable source for the accuracy of the document. Your allegation about Aigaforum not withstanding, your response has confirmed that you are trying to bring new leaders in to your group and that you are seeking approval from the jailed leaders. In essence that is what the article we posted says. You let us know where we manufactured and we will gladly heed.
Note to Readers: Kinijit.org (Shaleqa group) has sued KIL’s (Andargachew group) for using the kinijit name in their webpage (http://www.kinijitethiopia.org/) The deadline for Andargachew group to cease using the kinijit name was last week.
Comment: Governments position on Eritrea and its business
as usual attitude is becoming divorced from reality, and is relegation
of duty as government to protect its citizens.
Ethiopia’s efforts would not be hampered by criminal acts of Eritrea:
Ministry
Addis Ababa, April 27, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - The Ministry of Information
said the government’s efforts to benefit its citizens through mobilizing
the country’s resources and the successes registered so far would not
be hampered by the criminal acts...
Comment: We think our development will be hampered
when 65 of our able body people that were engaged in development are killed
by bandits and terrorist and when tourist are abducted in broad day light!
How many tourists are going to Afar these days after the hostage taking
incident? Certainly Ethiopia is not going to stop her struggle to win
poverty and backwardness and we understand the message but let us make
sure our struggle is focused and our enemy identified. We cannot burry
our head in the sand for long and keep continuing the hear no evil see
no evil approach when it comes to Isayas Afeworki team of terror. The
terror team is a menace to our development and the time is right for a
measured response.

I strongly support the opinion rendered on the role
of Ted Dagne and the need to start grassroot movement that I believe
is overdue. Ted Dagne is using his good office not only to appease
the terrorist group such as OLF, ONLF and CUD but also plays a big
role in misleading the some members of the US Congress causing them
to meddle in the Ethiopian internal affairs. As suggested it is
about time to organize grassroot movement comprised of members from
all nations and nationalities to defend the sovereignty of the country,
territorial integrity and freedom of the peoples of Ethiopia. We
have to protest consistently specially the interference of the US
Congress in Ethiopian internal affairs thereby encouraging terrorism,
lawlessness, violence to eventually destabilize the country. We
need to provide pertinent information to the US Congress and government
regarding efforts and success being made by the government and the
peoples of Ethiopia in promoting peace, stability and economic development
while at the same time fighting poverty, backwardness so that the
few good men and women in the US Congress would be able to get their
record straight. There is a saying in Amharic that could be a lesson
for Ted Dagne. "Qomatan qomata kalalut gebto yifetefital."
Thanks.

Scores Are Killed In Ethiopia Attack
NAIROBI, April 24 -- Gunmen killed scores of people at a Chinese-run oil
field in Ethiopia early Tuesday in an attack claimed by a separatist group
operating near the border with Somalia..(washington post)
Comment:Has Ted Dagne assumed the position of
a terrorist apologist? We may understand the flawed analysis by the ignorant
western experts about Africa in general but Ted Dagne seeking an explanation
to a cold blood murder of road workers and foreign investors is extremely
irritating. Some how we think we Ethiopian Diaspora are not helping our
cause when we allow such characters to speak on our behalf. We think it
is time to say enough is enough and start a grass root movement to see
an end to such travesty in Washington DC and elsewhere we live in. Our
innocent civilians do not deserve the likes of Ted Dagne!
