On our part we have been telling these folks “hultum ataqeso mehed aychalem…” though they were not listening carefully. What we did not know for sure was this was going to be true here in the west also! We hope this will be a lesson to those aspiring for armed struggle.

What an irony! While the US government is doing its best to help Ethiopia Donald Payne is doing all he can to hurt Ethiopia.
What is Donald Payne a New Jersey congressmen doing in Minnesota with ONLF supporters? And can you imagine a US congressmen worried about Ethiopia and not Eritrea when it comes to terrorism and human right? The US State Dept after declaring Al-shabab a terrorist organization has also hinted Eritrea may be declared a terrorist state also. Yet, Donald Payne is dining with supporters of Al-Shabab and ONLF! Something is wrong.
The other day we heard over the air that some congressmen flew to Iraq, their expense fully sponsored by Sadam Hussein, few weeks before the start of the war. We wonder if Donald Payne heard the story also. Shouldn't Donald Payne stop pampering supporters of dictators and terrorists of the Horn the likes of the ONLF?

An observation on debates by Getachew Mequanent and agreed by Haile B. is that preferential treatment for EPRDF in a transparent manner which puts the moderators integrity into question. EPRDF debaters also were not even quick on their feet to answer questions. I remember an interesting response by UEDP-Medhin who said "I am the son of Mechagna Nekash" to the allegation of "Neftegna." Like wise EPRDF debaters can put to shame to the allegations of the opposition but they go to debates with prepared speech...

The courageous men and women of the Ethiopian Security Forces in conjunction with peace loving peoples of Ethiopia have been foiling numerous acts of terrorism on their tracks, denying a killing spree from taking place. In spite of this courageous and vigilant gesture, the craven terrorists have managed to harm our people in some occasions. The struggle has continued to rout and seize these terrorists. And, just recently, our Security Forces have captured "skilled" terrorist, who was trained by Eritrea- a one man state of dictatorship. This is a testament to those who are running to live another day to cause havoc and mayhem. Remember, "you can run but you cannot hide."
