Why would Isayas Afeworki go to Italy on a private trip and get a harsh lesson form the Italian Prime minister? This is unlike Isayas of the past, something must be wrong. We can only guess things are not going well for him. The Economy in shamble, citizens leaving the country daily what else could go wrong. Last few months Ethiopia reported over 600 Eritreans entered Ethiopia thru Egela. These were the cream of the society...
PRODI MEETS WITH PRESIDENT OF ERITREA AFWERKI
The extreme elements in Somalia may be succeeding to get what they want. Ethiopian parliament has recommended the Ethiopian government to use any legal means necessary to thwart the danger these extremist harbor against Ethiopia. In the heated parliamentarians discussion the honorable Ledetu Ayalew supporting the government position made a speech reminding political organizations not to make the same mistake similar to TPLF and EPRP during the last war Ethiopia had with Ziad Barre Somalia. Many people assume the young TPLF of the late seventies while establishing its base in Northern Ethiopia, Tigray had taken a position against Ethiopia when Ziad Barre invaded Ethiopia. The truth however is not what many opponents of the EPRDF today would like us to believe.
In a symposium held in Mekelle some two years ago, Aboy Sebhat one of the founders of TPLF and by many considered to be the father of the organization has said, TPLF warned the Ziad Barre regime that invading Ethiopia is a mistake and must be stopped. Other source also told us that while TPLF acknowledged the invasion was wrong it was severely handicapped to do anything except to work on its own survival. As a young organization it was immersed in many organizational problems. However this did not stop it from condemning EPRP for the stand the organization took vis-à-vis the war.
We are trying to get any publication that confirms our sources and we will post it as soon as we get it.
CUD's Senior Partner,OLF's Stand on current event
"The Oromo people will gain nothing from the war between Ethiopia and Somalia and therefore must refrain from collaborating with the Ethiopian regime in the war effort. On the contrary, we call up on the Oromo people to remain focussed on the national liberation struggle to liberate Oromia from Ethiopian colonization."

Ethiopia and the
Somali ‘Trojan Horse’
(Addis Fortune, By Tekeda Alemu (PhD):- This is in response to what Nicolas
Moyer wrote last week under the headline, “War is not the Answer” ...the
writer took a pacifist line and I see no problem with that. He is opposed
to war in Somalia, and he should be commended for that as well. But what
is the empirical reality in Somalia now? Would it be fair to depict Ethiopia
as warmonger ...

(Aigaforum Nov 27, 2006):-The Ethiopian election held in 2005, free and

image will continue to suffer more...

Source who attended last week's meeting called by the Shaleqa group in San Jose Califonria informed us the meeting did not go well. The source told us police was called to bring order due to a unruly behaviour by Berhanu Mewa supporters. Our source said neither group should be allowed to speak on behalf of Kinijit nor be allowed to represent Kinijit. "እርስ በርሱ አንድ ላይ ያልቆመ ተቓዋሚ እንደ ቅንጅት መጻፍ ፡ መወከል አይቸልም" This in reference to Berhanu Mewa group declaration on the current conflict between Ethiopia and Jihadist posted on the web.
