Thought for Today
When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at
the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us. by Hellen

The Simultaneous Double Millennium Graduations
(Ethiopia-Somali Regional State)
Commentary:-
The Somali issue is becoming an international issue. Ethiopia likes it or not is becoming the main actor as far as the international media is concerned. Not sure if folks in Addis are listening to the international media but of late news coming from Somalia is coined around Ethiopia doing this and doing that. No where is it mentioned the TFG as the main actor. Ethiopia needs a full time capable person to address issues as they come and to inform the international media on Somalia. The news coming is hurting the country image; even NPR the main source of news for most Americans if not the world is carrying daily negative news on Somalia. It is about time Ethiopia moves form the once in a month updated on Somalia and the greater horn. We are living in the information age and news travel fast. One can not wish for the news to go away and hope a better tomorrow. In this case we agree with Dagmawi’s call, in spite of his callous charges against officials, for up-to-date information. Ethiopia needs to play its expected role in the Horn. It has become the news maker in every field thanks to EPRDF government. It will be bad if it fails to take advantage of its success. Somalia should not be a story for failure but success. [Aigaforum 12/14/07]
The Simple Plan
According to the crookish hustlers the plan is simple. Take over AEUP office and
hold press conference declaring they are the CUD. But
turns out the ZEBEGNA has more badges working as opposition

Exclusive
interview with Mr Seyum Mesfin Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs
lesnouvelles.org
Ethiopia, the most important country in the Horn, cannot withdraw from Somalia
since neither African Union nor United Nations have taken over the task
of helping the transitory government though it is recognized. Some regional
and external actors are busy adding fuel to the fire. On the occasion of

H.R 2003 & the $210,000 Question:
(Revisited)
Dr. G. Dagnew, 12/11/07:-The last
article was written just based on statements made by Mr. Solomon Bekele
to the New York Times reporters. Now that we have obtained the actual
evidence of who paid the balance. I will discuss the money trial and,
the collaboration of Kinijit with OLF, ONLF and Shabia.
Joke of the Day Derge Volunteer Comrade Debebe Eshetue -The Strategist If Lidetu is able to take only
4 people and every other CUD is united, why would there be a
need to take head count of those who no longer wants to be CUD, who has left CUD for another party etc. He states that the government
would have stopped them at the airport had it known their strategy.
Is this guy a retard or what? Did he forget that the fact that
they were trumpeting their departure-who got a visa and whose
is delayed.(Did he leave the country by Bole or Bale?) The funny
part, they came in the name of reconciling the Diaspora while
all along they were/are the problem!
The Derge volunteer dreams of 20 million dollars HR 2003 will
bring him. Keep on dreaming. It is clear that 20 million can
not hold a grouping that is tied by nothing but hate.
Watching these “GOODOCH” accusing each other of
decreeing Yefiyel Wetete, Lidetu is more than vindicated for
insisting they should not dissolve the member parties before
integrating them top down. These bizarre individuals took advantage
in 2005 because the Government gave them legitimacy and EPRDF
let them seat as its equal and slept at the wheel throughout
the election.
The government should wise up and ask if there is any country
were parties who are determined to dismantle the very system
are given the cover of legitimacy in the name of democracy.
