Thought for Today
You need to be aware of what others are doing, applaud their efforts, acknowledge their successes, and encourage them in their pursuits. When we all help one another, everybody wins.
by Jim Stovall
Meles interview with Al-jazeera
"...delimitation is on the map and demarcation is on the ground. There is no such thing as a virtual demarcation."

- U.S. Administration against H.R. 2003:Rice
Addis Ababa, December 05, 2007 (WIC) - U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said today that her administration does not support the controversial H.R.2003: Ethiopia Democracy and Accountability Act of 2007.
Comment: HR2003 is for all practical purpose dead until the next election! Even Ex-Mayor and lobbyist Giuliani is distancing from this ill advised Bill accordign to MSNBC.

Comments on president Tsgay Behre Interview on Civility Platalk
Yukuno Mesfin
Readers Comment
(Yukuno! The fact that Gebru Asrat and company of all people stood should
to shoulder with Kinjit leaders in front of Meskel Square to denounce EPRDF
and Knijit ended up declaring "Tigre wede Mekel eqa wede kebele" says volumes
about what ARENA under the same leadership means. It is true democracy with
all its shortcomings is the only way forward for Ethiopia thus any political
organization must be tolerated and allowed to function. But ARENA has invited
itself to be criticized. And supporters must expect as such.)
