NEBE expects 29 million registered voters

is expected to reach 29 million, the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia
(NEBE) said. Comment: More than election 2005 this coming election will cement
the democratic process in a strong footing in Ethiopia. This election
will enable Ethiopians all over to exercise real politics and elect
their representative all the way to the Kebele level. Any opposition
party that is missing this election is missing the big picture of democratic
process and institution building. Ethiopia's democratic process will
be built from the bottom up and not from top down.
