The UIC extremist did not fool the pundits
in Washington DC and Brussels only but also Somalis themselves.
The following cartoon by one of the gifted Somali’s we have
seen on the net tells it all how fooled people have been by
UIC! We are sure Mr Amin is scratching his head how stupid
he must have been to trust UIC extremist and foreign mujahadeenis
sponsored by Shaibya of Eritrea!. Mr. Amin is the trap working
these days?...

Escaping the
curse of the 70’s and Nudging our nascent democracy

Lidetus Resonable
request Ethiopia’s curse
from the 70’s (Derge, EPRP, Meson)were huddled on paltalk
to recover from their Somali prediction debacle and to see
if they can figure a way for Ethiopia travel back to future
using “unite” or ‘destruct” “Tebaberu
wey tesebaberu” placard. Apparently such undemocratic,
intolerant organizing motto is said to be what “Ye Ethiopia
hizb” wants. (Sensible minds must have said to themselves
“Minew EHadeg zemedochachin befetana kenezih gudoch
betegelagelen). It proceeded with usual irony, a civic organization
organizing political parties, Dr. Negede teaching Andargachew
about “Yeginbot Diloch”, which apparently is lost
on the latter after spending all his time being apologist
for OLF. Their pathetic state was such that they were nostalgic
of Paris I.
And back home…
Dr.Beyene wants to plead the fifth. This is after he shifted
his reason for opposing the last resolution on Aend Ethiopia
Radio. The reason he opposed, he backtracked, was because
the resolution makes other parties equally accountable as
Eritrea. While clearly he is on record to have agreed targeting
the UIC but opposes pointing fingers to other, among whom
is Eritrea.
On the other hand UEDP-Medhin (where is the
Medhin in UEDP-Medhin?) has got it right. Why EPRDF is dogging
them is not clear. While it is good thing EPRDF wanted to
postpone the resolution it should make it a habit to consult
with the opposition and bring a resolution sponsored in cooperation
with other parties when possible. They have earned the respect
and it is one way to develop the democratic culture.

| This video is
from our archives that shows OLF captured fighters. This time
Shabia and Anti-Ethiopia forces were deafening us with how
weak our forces are pointing to deserting self disgraced generals.
They were publicly declaring that our forces will be trapped
in Somali. They were quick to show fake downed Helicopters
only to see UIC being decimated in a week. Our forces have
proven to be disciplined formidable regional force and Shabia
will go down to its grave with its dream. |

Jets, Artillery, Tanks led Ethiopian Millitary Offensive in Somalia...(Voanews) Comment:-
...blunder after blunder western experts face the agony in defeat...defeat as in wrong prediction! We are sure the monday morning quarterbacking will continue for some time. In fact expect every little incident in Somalia to be magnified in order to fit the only remaining living prediction of the so called experts-"insurgency by UIC".Living only because Ethiopia and TFG can not alter the pace of Time!

At

(timesonline)-The peremptory ousting of the Islamic courts by Ethiopian

decades. Ethiopia acted out of national interest, to deny Islamic extremists

Ethiopians
'must stay' in Somalia
"Somalia's weak interim government wants Ethiopian
forces to remain in the country until peacekeepers deploy as they have
few well-trained troops and are poorly placed to maintain law and order
without help. "
Comment: The
Iraq- Somalia comparison is far fetched. For insurgency to be viable it
has to have grass root support, organizational capacity and finance. The
bush administration made the mistake dismantling the state the Sunis built
for decades in the name of debaathification following the ill advice of
Ahmed Chalabi. UIC has no grass root support by the fact the Clan militia
turned on it at the 11th hour. The UIC is a spent force
However, the treat to Somali’s stability is the entrenched clan
based division and it is doubtful if it will be solved in months. News
is popping up where the undisciplined TFG members are accusing each other.
There is no guarantee that they will not used the years propaganda that
Ethiopia is an Enemy of Somalia to their own cynical end there by making
Ethiopian forces to be part of the problem.
The 3 days of disarmament can be indicators to know how much the TFG is
perceived to be legitimate. The open ended declaration by PM Gedi of staying
until “Somalia is stabilized” is unhelpful. Ethiopia should
not shift its time table of exit and demand the world community to get
its acts together and send peace keeping forces within the time table
set.
Avoid the temptation of being a liberator or fixing Somalia.
Breaking
News
(Aigaforum
Jan 1, 2007)-Kenyan Forces have intercepted fleeing terrorist from
Kismayo at their border this evening. Sources told us Kenyan forces
were quoted on Kenyan TV to have apprehended two Eritrean passport
holders and a third person from another country after a brief skirmish.
Kenyan TV is reported to have aired on the skirmish this evening Kenyan
time.
As you recall the Eritrean regime has been trying in futile attempt
to cover its tracks in Somalia by denying it has dispatched forces
to Somalia. As recent as yesterday it has criticized Ethiopia for
manufacturing Eritrean ID cards. It is to be seen what Eritrea’s information
minister also known lately the second “Bagdad Bob" to say on
this breaking news.
