"We are getting highly reliable information that a vessel has unloaded 500 Eritrean fighters along the Somali coast, and they are going to join with forces in Mogadishu,"

FYI: Diaspora's Extrimism VS Ethiopia's Democratization Process

Who Stands for Democracy and National Security of Ethiopia?

Diaspora Extrimists, radio personalities and singers have set foot in Shabia's Eritrea, whose leader is sending arms and Soldiers to Somalia in a bid to destabilize the horn in General and Ethiopia in particular.

Diaspora CUD,whose supporters had not forgiven the PM for discribing the Ethioian Flag as a cloth and what matters is what it symbolizes, chose to stand against the National interest of Ethiopia in total disreagrd of acts of the Flag burning, Ogaden seeking, African Taliba in somalia.

A high level of Deligation form the Ethiopian Parliament, that includes prominent opposition leaders, is coming to the United States on training on the Legislative process of the United States. The deligation is the guest of the State Departmet.

The Making of Gilgel Gibe III
The high profile nature of Gilgel Gibe III hydroelectric power project is not only evident from how much it will have cost when construction is completed in five years..."In the global picture where oil is getting scarce and ever more expensive, hydropower is the white oil of Ethiopia: clear and renewable,” said Mr. Lautizi, confirming the Prime Minister’s passion for mega constructions geared for power generation.

Islamists refuse talks, acknowledge Eritrea
Somalia's Islamists said on Tuesday they would not attend peace talks with the interim government..., and for the first time acknowledged Eritrean backing for their cause.
When will Aite Isayas Afeworki give up? He has been fighting the Eritrean Jihad movement tooth to nail in his own backyard and he must know what a Jihad movement is all about! Does he think the Somalian Jihadist is any different he is lending his support? Ethiopia should use any means necessary to deny Aite Isayas any footing on Somalian soil.

Tough Talk From Somalia's Islamic Hard-Liner

Newsweek Exclusive
Somalis have what many are calling an African version of the Taliban, bent not only on imposing a harsh, Wahhabi-style Islam on the country but allegedly also providing a safe haven, Afghan style, for international terrorists. Movies and music have been banned; open-air video parlors showing World Cup matches were shut down. Recently the group appointed a Majlis al-Shura (consultative council) as its supreme spiritual and policy-setting body, appointing as its leader Sheik Hassan Dahir Aweys, who is on the U.S. terrorist watch list for his connection to a Somali militant group, Al Itihad al-Islamiya

Agazi Operation will be made in to a Movie

The famous Agazi Operation, an operation that was carried by TPLF to save over a thousand political and innocent prisoners from the jaws of the derge regime during the struggle years will be made in to a movie. For those who would like to know more about the operation read the book “AGAZI “ by Berhan Abadi and Haile Ayalneh. It was truly an amazing operation. The operation was lead and mastermind by the late General Hayelom. Many of the freed prisoners chose to join TPLF and many other chose to leave the country and live as refugees in neighboring countries. Today quite a few of them are leading a comfortable life in North America and Europe. Those who can should help this project succeed. This is a once in a life time chance to see ones own history made in to a movie!

National politics and the future

By: Imru Zelleke, from Ben's Page
Comment: Ambassador Imru has been lamenting for too long in the corridors of Washington DC to undo EPRDF's strong connection to the West. Today he is forced to look inward to his beloved Kinijit. On his account there are more than three Kinijit's. This clearly is a sign that the organization is terminally ill. One can only guess why the Good Old Ambassador can not see a failed organization and call it quit!. His latest article puts him squarely against his comrade in arm Dr. Getachew Haile who endorsed the new AFD. These two gentle men are for all practical purpose the elders driving the vocal Diaspora to the edge of the cliff. Perhaps some followers will be saved now if they heed the Ambassador's call to denounce AFD.Ambassador Imru is against AFD!

Somali PM accuses Eritrea of training jihadists

Somali Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi accused Eritrea of arming and training fighters to wreak chaos in Somalia where a burgeoning Islamist movement is threatening the interim government's power.
