"...This is a call to fight fire with fire, and to stand for Ethiopia. This is a call to all brave sons of Tygrei who are duped into believing that they are serving Ethiopia..." [Tecola Hagos commenting on the recent Aboy Sebhat interview]

Tecola, why don't you volunteer yourself to be in the firing range! Why ask others to die for you? We think you have altogether missed Aboy Sebhat's interview message but true to form as a lawyer you have not failed in twisting Aboy Sebhat's message in the interview.

Any sane mind person will not have hesitated to derail any initiative that would have emboldened the Derge regime to continue its killing machine. That is exactly what TPLF did in our mind by chastising the Eritrean fronts when they tried to make "peace" with Derge for a token seat in Addis. You know the struggle was not about territories but about democracy and people's wish to be master of their destiny.

If the fronts were genuinely trying to join their mother land who is stopping them now? TPLF managed the struggle to dismantle the derge regime magnificently. To say otherwise is to know nothing about the struggle which Tecola is oblivious for sure. Eritreans should not be hoodwink to join Ethiopia rather should be left alone to decide for themselves. We think Ethiopia will be stronger only if people are allowed to die and live to protect her on their own free will. That is exactly the policy we see today and it is the right policy.

Thought for Today

"No organization can depend on genius; the supply is always scarce and unreliable. It is the test of an organization to make ordinary human beings perform better than they seem capable of, to bring out whatever strength there is in its members, and to use each one’s strength to help all the others perform. The purpose of an organization is to enable common people to do uncommon things." by Peter Druker

Empty ports a sign of a failed State: the case of Eritrea today!
[Zeru Hagos]-In a way this clip from Eri TV is a good thing. At least the regime, though still a one man regime, has people who can think a bit ahead. I admit Dr Araya is listing his wish list when it comes to Aseb and Masaw. Aseb and Masaw will remain empty so long Wedi Afom remains at the helm... Aboy Sebhat in his recent interview said Eritreans are hard working and if it was not for the one man dictator they could have achieved great success in building their country over the last 16 years. The question I have is how long they have to remain in the doldrums? Watch the clip and see how empty the ports are today...more
