The Lying Liars of the Vocal Diaspora.

It may sound an exaggeration but the Ethiopian opposition and its Diaspora supporters are becoming an embarrassment to all of us. Let alone a weak, disillusioned and lying opposition even the most well oiled and determined lying enemy was no match to EPRDF. If the vocal Diaspora can learn a thing or two from Shaibya, no matter how well a lie is told and retold it adds nothing to disarm EPRDF. But the vocal Diaspora cannot even tell a lie as good as Shaibya.

The recent alleged torture photograph from Addis Ababa prison is one good example. The alleged picture is not from Addis Ababa but from East Timor. Shaibya knows this for it had tired to use the same picture before in Washington DC! What is interesting is why did not Shaibya warn CUD International (KIL) about the pictures? Does that mean Shaibya is dumping Berhanu and company?

Shaibya passed the same picture to a (jele) unnamed congress man staffer to use it to intimidate the Ethiopian government a while back. The poor congressional staffer has to swallow his pride and walk back when he was told the picture was not from Ethiopia.

While Shaibya is trying to organize its falling house cards searching who it should pick for its next game from the Ethiopian opposition The Ethiopian opposition camp is sliding deeper and deeper in to the abyss. All the fanfare about the formation of an Ethiopian forum.org involving who is who from the vocal Diaspora could not even emulate Shaibya running dogs trick in Washington DC. Last time this torture picture was used to discredit Ethiopia, Shaibya did not use its own dogs but the ill informed staffers of nameless congressman. But the shameful Diaspora opposition was quick to grab the headline to their disadvantage.

For democracy to take strong foothold in Ethiopia, Ethiopians need to take matters in to their own hand. They need to fight tooth to nail the warmongers and hate messengers wherever they are. They cannot leave the task to the Ethiopian government. It is ill equipped to fight the propaganda war at the moment. We certainly do not see any indication the Ethiopian government is following the propaganda war by the vocal Diaspora closely.
