15 months ago the TDA Seattle chapter did start the project to build two elementary schools in Tigray in cooperation with the locals.

The Tigreans in Seattle , Portland and Vancouver spent no time to realize the role of education and the impact it has on the nations political and socio-economic development and whole heartedly embraced the project to build school in Tigray that provides access to education for every child.

The TDA Seattle chapter, now proudly announces that the Tigreans in Seattle and the surroundings have exhibited the usual swift cooperation for help and contributed the required $70,000.00 (Seventy thousand dollars) in full and send the fund to TDA international in Mekele .

The TDA Seattle chapter congratulates and thanks very much for all Tigreans and corporations who stretched their hands to make this great cause accomplished.
