Ted Dagne was one of those behind the now dead HR2003. There were many articles with quotes attributed to him when he tried so hard to diminish Ethiopia's significance in the war against terror. The following is what he said to non-other than Jeffrey Gettleman on Eritrea's significance to the war on terror (no, it's not a joke!). Ted Dagne has now become one of the few advocates to the increasingly isolated desperate bully of the horn.

"If there is one country where the fighting of extremists and terrorists was
a priority when it mattered, it was Eritrea," said Ted Dagne, an Africa

Maybe he wasn't following the news lately to know the whereabouts of Dahir Aweys! It shouldn't be that surprising as this is coming from someone who tried to justify terror acts recently.
