The
deputy Prime minister of Ethiopia Addisu Legesse, the president
of Amara kilil Ato Ayalew Gobeze and other delegates from Amara
kilil held meeting on August 29 in Marriott hotel Atlanta, GA.
After
Solomon Tekalign and other Gangster were forced to vacate the meeting hall and
left the hotel area, the meeting room re-opened for peaceful participant and
the meeting start at 6:30 pm. Originally the meeting was schedule at 5:00 pm.
The meeting was successful and productive.
On
August 28 the delegates had lunch with Ethiopians Engineers group at
Renaissance Hotel and dinner reception with city of Atlanta official and
distinguished Ethiopians guests, business group at four seasons Hotel midtown
Atlanta. Also on August 29, at 1:00 pm H.E. Ato Addisu Legesse and Ato Ayalew
Gobeze, met with Atlanta mayor Shirley Franklin and discussed about Ethiopian
and its community in Atlanta.
