We, the member of the Ethiopian Somali Advocacy Council, wish to send our condolences and deep sympathy for the families of the Ethiopians, who were savagely killed or injured by a grenade in the city of jijiga (Somali regional state of Ethiopia).

This heinous crime is completely unacceptable.  Although nothing can bring back the lives of those individuals’ citizens, we ask the Government of Ethiopia to bring the perpetuators of this senseless and cowardly crime to justice.

The Ethiopian Somali Advocacy Council condemns the killings carried out by the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) and for those organizations that support such travesties.

We as a nation will continue to celebrate May 28^th, the day our country liberated from fascist regime in our homeland and we will keep moving forward in promoting democracy, economic development and peace in our country.
