Extreme Diaspora Supporters Bewilderment and Confusion!

(Aigaforum Aug 27, 2007):-Prime Minister Meles sensitive to the age old tradition of shimglena by elders managed to convince his government to pardon Kinijit leaders who were convicted on crimes against the constitution. Although it is an open secret many in his government were not fond of giving another chance to anti-peace and anti-constitution elements who chose to ignore  government warning not to incite violence during the last election, PM Meles managed to convince them “mechachal”  as in the form of clemency was good for the country. This being the case the extreme Diasporas ever since the release of the kinijit leaders have been in denial. Some of them have been writing all kind of conspiracy theories about how and why they (knijit leaders) were released. Some of them were insinuating that the release was not the outcome of clemency request but because the premier begged kinijit leaders! All in all the extreme Diasporas did not take the release well. In fact the refusal of released Kinijit leaders to appear on some pal talk rooms suspected to be a breeding ground of dangerous elements and Shaibia (Eritrean government) recruits has sent shock waves into these camps that things will not be business as usual. This was cemented by the fact that the pre announcement of the coming of Kinijit leaders to the western hemisphere has to be postponed few times so far by the likes of the newly crowned group Al Mariama and Berhanu Mewa group.

Speaking of Al Mraima group, as you recall the extreme Diasporas have now three well known groups. KIC led by Shaleqa Yospeh and his meslene Dr Taye, KIL led by Berhnau Mewa and his meslene AL Mariam, and  of course the Gojjie’s of  the Cyber world(pal talk crowd) who can not wait to wipe out  Tigreans from earth once his “Kinjit” organization usurps power. All these groups swear their allegiance to Kinjit and they are waiting for the released leaders to come to them. The dilemma is the leaders themselves are divided and not sure about how to handle this volatile situation. If one can believe Indian Ocean (ION) the American government may likely be the unsuspected arbiter in this fiasco. The State Dept may be inclined to support the more moderate group within Kinjit and is rumored to have issued Berhanu Nega a visa who is also a green car holder while denying Hailu Shawel group entry visa. The word is the extreme Diaspora may be planning to stage demonstration and petition to lobby the State Dept to issue visa to Hailu Shawel. We shall see if this demonstration will include the storming of the State Dept.

Mean time Berhnau is rumored to be shopping in Dubai/Kuwait before his tour to the USA while Hailu Shawel is waiting in Addis for the millennium to pass. Knowledgeable source told us the USA usually denies visa to convicted persons but it is possible after the euphoria of the extreme Diaspora is subdued they may issue the leaders visa with strict guidance to follow. The Ethiopian government is determined to hold these leaders where ever they go if they are living up to their pledges not to undermine the State and constitution. Observers say it is precisely for these reason the USA may be hesitating to issue a visa!

The extreme Diaspora may have succeed in holding the large Ethiopian community abroad as hostage for long but slowly it is losing the grip. This will be more apparent in the coming days. The wisdom of the elders to convince the government to pardon these leaders may not be appreciated by many but we do appreciate! It has unmasked the extreme Diaspora and has rekindled the mechachal spirit for many. Amen.
