Our vocal Diaspora is busy compiling the dirt list on the EPRDF Government. The latest work includes a list of Ethiopian Foreign Ministry workers who were stationed all over the world and failed to report to duty when they were recalled after finishing their tour. The list includes counselors to drivers and secretaries. What is it the vocal Diaspora wants to achieve in this we do not know! But we are sure economics not politics has to do a lot with these folks opting to stay overseas if indeed they have. Who could blame a driver not wanting to go back to Ethiopia to work as a driver when he can become a Taxi driver easily in New York? Are not we all doing the same? One thing we are sure, the vocal Diaspora is not missing the fact that these folks who refuse to go back to Ethiopia can easily be replaced by the many unemployed Ethiopians.
