are the mothers of peace and prosperity

My brother Fithi Mehari, the analysis you have forwarded about family, tribe or ethnic is correct, logical, natural and perfect. I think we both have different understanding. I was talking about political system. I believe the political system of a country must be all inclusive. I mean the political system must represent all the ethnics. No citizen of any ethnic must feel excluded. For instance other ethnics in Ethiopia now must not feel they are out of the equation. It is true also there are elements who claim they are born and bred to be leaders of Ethiopia. From my perspective, I admire you so much , I do not think the way you have stated. And my quest is to bring the Ethiopians and Eritreans to a common ground.

People who belong to the same family,tribe, ethnic,... , they tend to live together and to help each other naturally. It did not start with Tigrean or Eritrean or Amhara.... It happens all over the nations in the whole world. These are general truth. They are also the basic rights of individuals, families, tribes, ethnics, or any other social groups. They are based on their common background. They share the same mode of life style, language,.... However, in a fair, just, and equitable society, all these must be done in the bounds of those social groups, not in the political system. The political system must serve all the citizen with an equal eye regardless to which tribe or ethnic or religion or social group they belong. I know these are an outlandish in Ethiopia or in Eritrea or in most backward countries. In the countries where there is equity, impartiality, fairness, justice,... all citizens are served equally. Politicians vy for power based on their merit, not based on their ethnic,.... I hope you understand now what I was trying to implicate in my previous writing. I have also understood when you mentioned about Haileslassie. I just do not like resuscitating the evil of the past to the present because I have found them poisonous especially for us.

narrow elements who claim that they are born and bred to be leaders of Ethiopia. I do not think all Ethiopians think like this. According to me those are mentally sick and unstable people;

if someone is sick, we do not have to be sick or ill like them. If someone leads me to darkness, I must not follow him. If someone is backward, I must not be backward; If someone is narrow, I must not be narrow. If I do what the ill or sick, backward , and narrow does, it may mean I am not better than them either; It is true this is a big problem in Ethiopian because narrow, backward and sick people push us to think like them when we want to think better than them. But I say we must not think and work like them because they will reduce us to further unheard, unseen, unspoken misery and backwardness. We must prove them wrong by doing the right thing. They may probably learn at some stage along the way if their arrogance and ignorance does not kill them.

Men are not afraid of men, and I do believe other Ethiopians know Tigreans and Eritreans speaks the same language and have the same mode of life style. They are entitled to help each other. Most of my friends never knew the difference between Tigreans and Eritean. And even when the Ethiopians started chasing Eriteans, rumor had it they started chasing all and rumor had it when the Tigreans said they are Tigreans, the response was you are all the same. This is to say Ethiopians never knew the difference between them. It is them Eritrean and Tigrean who stood against each other. There are still Ethiopians who do not understand the difference. Thus I would say even woyane has been split into two, and even killed each other, and there is still two or more camps which I am not one. Shabia split into two, the other camp vanished from the face of Eritrea not to be heard again where they have gone. As such we should not think other Ethiopians are against us while we our selves at each others throat and even killing.

You also mentioned that you are not trying to cajole or to ask favour from woyane,; you must not feel like that. Do not worry about that. Let the Tigreans or Eritreans who are not conscious say what they want. They will not take anything away from you. As long as you belief in yourself, you are fully entitled to voice your concern.

In conclusion, we are wasting our time; we are busy killing each other and doing nothing good except standing at each others throat. The world is not moving to a second information age called NANOTECHNOLOGY AGE. Our people are living in stone age. Europe has become one nation, united state is one nation, Canada is one nation. They all abandoned their well-demarcated colonial borders. Now they are united, strong, powerful, prosperous. We are killing each other to create a border which never existed even during the colonial. Even if we had a colonial border, we should have abandoned it because it was created to divide us. But luckily we did not had it, but we wanted to create a border and because of that we are wreaking untold, unheard, unseen and unspoken injustice on our ordinary people. Let us abandon the border and reconcile and live together as before then we will not waste lives, resources, time. We will become strong, powerful and prosperous like the others. Let us forget our past and but never forget the lessons learned from our past shortcomings.

I therefore appeal to all Ethiopians and Eritreans s that we must put our past behind us. If we continue to count the number of innocent people who perished from both sides, and harbor grudge in our heart and pass it from one generation to the other, our children will heir tangerine. If we continue with hatred, neither the dead nor us will benefit from it. Many of us may not know, but we are killing each other for the benefit of someone else . Let us do a favor for the coming generation, let us give them a gift of love, peace and prosperity to eternity.
