In the north during the 6th century Ethiopia was the first Christian country which gave a recognition and protection to the Islamic religion. This enhances the equality of beliefs
In the south the ‘’Gada system’’ which had 8 stages held every eight Years through election to seize the power of ‘’Hayu,’’ ensures democratic rights
There fore, both freedom of belief and equality of human beings are human and democratic rights.
Now days, these two our grand’s historical heritages of proved by the government and people of Ethiopia. We established a constitution which guaranteed both human and democratic rights (freedom of belief, demonstration, freedom of expressing opinions, free press organization of civics societies, etc.) Ethiopia encourages multi party system.
Ethnics, nationalities, nations have rights of self determination to govern by them selves for themselves. They are able to use their own language in academy purpose, justice /courts/, literature, to develop their own culture, values and norms, etc.
We Ethiopians are able to build a democratic system, anew Ethiopia based on the willing of nations, nationalist and people of Ethiopia.
We Ethiopians our diversity is our beauty we established the rule of law. We able to show the world who is an Ethiopian and what Ethiopia means.
We Ethiopians have visions. We are in the midst growth. we have a true policy which enhance our people to show a consistency development every year from 9-10 percent in all economical and social service sectors.
Our economy grows at midst growth rate 10% per years for four years and now also ongoing. we have a bright feature to reach the rank where developed countries reach.
The new millennium of Ethiopia proved that we are many and one. We are ready to change the bad feature given by western ambitious.
The millennium celebration conducted colorfully meant that Ethiopia is a big country in the world. That it never colonized and composed by the western cultures.
Both Religious ceremonies conducted in Ethiopia which are colorfully celebrated in the millennium proved that Ethiopia is the home of the equality of religion which never celebrated colorfully before EPRDF seized the power, even in the world too.
The HR 2003 drafted by the US senator of the 110th congress which denied the true feature of the new Ethiopia is to misleading the world.
The intention is to add black and white to the colorful feature of the federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia though it has not any change in the sovereignty of our country and people.
As mentioned earlier, we Ethiopian are many and one in our political issues. We learned from our experience and elders of our mother land to resolve though there is a minor misunderstanding. The political issue of our country should be of Ethiopians only not that of third party
Ethiopia means the home of love tolerance, accommodation. Hospitality etc. It is proved in the new millennium.
If the congress approved HR 2003, it’s shameful, unwarranted, demeaning and debases the congress of that big country as intended to sponsor terrorists and terrorist sentiments exactly known by the world politicians and Medias.
The draft designer senator’s mission is based on evil ambitious and deliberately aimed to denigrate the respectability deeds of Ethiopians in the new Ethiopian African millennium.
The war like senator who propose HR 2003 fond of remnants of the Derg regime, CDU members who released from the prison through dialogue with respectful Ethiopian elders, OLF, ONLF and the government of Eritrea denied the democratization of Ethiopia. Let’s remind you senator who designed HR 2003 Ethiopia is not mandated country, It has its own sovereignty, constitution approved by the people of Ethiopia based on common interest of nations, nationalities and people to build a new federal democratic republic Ethiopia.
The stand of the government and people of Ethiopia is clearly demystify that
- poverty reduction
- ensuring peace development, democracy and good governance in the country,
- preventing the constitution from internal and external violence and ensure the rule of low
- Fighting against corruption and terrorism doggedly
- Resolving conflicts border disputes or other internal misunderstanding based on the common interest of the concerned bodies through dialogue and elders within
- Enhance un shaken sovereignty, economy in the millennium and other similar target full. Strategies and polices.
- Engineer of HR 2003, How do you realize the prisoners of mantygaula of terrorist elements of Al-Quaida? Why do not you propagate to realize those thousands of prisoner of Al-Quaida and Talibans in your country as democratic senator? It’s a paradox!

The HR 2003 mission is to sponsor terrorism and terrorists which is demeaning; de base shameful, unwarranted of the congress of that country /USA/, It is a gross violation against the sovereignty country and people. There fore, as rational realistic ambassadors, senators tried to magnify the real political situation of Ethiopia, HR 2003 needs a revision and the congress apologizes Ethiopia. It seems as declare war up on sovereignty country and it demeaning the good relation of the two old friend countries. There for as HR 2003 sponsors terrorist, should apologize Ethiopia.
