(Aigaforum 04/22/08):- The Ethiopian government has severed its diplomatic relation with Qatar. Many have speculated that few countries from the Middle East and North Africa have been funneling and aiding terrorist in Somalia and Eritrea in hope of undermining Ethiopia

The recent UN report on Somalia has implicated few countries in the Middle East including Eritrea to have aided terrorist in Somalia. Today we have received information from very reliable sources that the government of Ethiopia has confirmed, through documents captured during security operations against Al-Shabaab and the Ogaden Liberation Front (ONLF) that the State of Qatar has been funneling funds through Eritrea as well as directly to these terrorist organizations.

It should be recalled that Al-Shabaab has been designated as an international terrorist organization by the government of the United States of America. It should also be recalled that the ONLF, in April 2007, had massacred 74 innocent civilians, including nine Chinese oil workers –in an act of cold-blooded murder which the terrorist ONLF unabashedly claimed responsibility for.
