Police Completes Probe: Accused Released On bailEftin Exclusive

The suspects, which Police described as wanted for being associated with serious
crime, and who had eventually been apprehended while attempting to escape via
Moyale are released on bail, reliable sources disclosed.
According to the sources, police has completed its investigation and handed the
file to the responsible prosecutors for the court process to proceed. In the
meantime police has decided to let the accused free on bail, and attend their
court proceedings accordingly. The released are Ms Yalemzewed Bekele, Mr.
Abdulkadir Abdi, Mr. Adane Shewa and Fasil Assefa.
The other released is Mr. Alemayehu Fantu. According to a diplomatic source that
communicated with Mr. Fantu , Ato Alemayehu is fine and has displayed surprise
when asked about undergoing torture as reported by Amnesty International.
