From its inception as a front and later as government (Shaebia) the Eritrean government is a front of deception and ruthless organization. It was a crystal clear by those who knew it from inside such as the ELF and those who had a close experience t like the TPLF. It was over twenty years ago that the TPLF branded the then EPLF as undemocratic front without clear vision of its future. But blind folded by narrow nationalism and false of hop this warning was rejected by almost all Eritreans. They looked at it as a smear campaign to discredit the popular front out of jealousy. To day except few trumpeters like Sophia Tesfamariam and Dr. Tekie most of Eritreans came to realize that was a genuine understanding not name defaming for political gains. But it is to late and the damage is done. The we know better than you attitude has produced nothing except poverty and flood of refugees.

Again call it propaganda war or Agame jealousy the fact is there. Shaebia is leading a bankrupt nation without a clear agenda in the new future. It has created more enemies around the world because of it behavior.

Some of the spear headed Shaebia propagandists such as Sophia Tesfamariam to call the TPLF leaders infected with incurable inferiority complex is laughable self deceiving, We Ethiopians including most of Eritreans choose patience than rushing to conclusion. We prefer civility to stupidity. We are very sensitive to use vulgar and unsolicited languages. Offending society in general is considered a crime. We do not rush to be prey of foul mouth and we don’t endorse spade for a spade.

Today mass killings and arbitrary arrests are the norm in the land of Isaias Afewerki. Except few individuals who have the guts to dare to challenge the authority of the dictator most of Diasporas chose to be silent majority or sympathizers of the regime.

This is the government will never hesitate to pull a trigger on its own war injured veterans for demanding an increase of cost of living. The Mai Habar incident is a living proof of the brutality of this government.

The ones vibrant and beautiful city of Asmara has been changed to fortress and living hell where young men and women are not to dare to walk freely because of fear of the mass conscription and arbitrary arrests.

This is the reality in the eyes of many Eritreans. Imagine who would think after thirty years of bloody war, young Eritreans would flock to neighboring countries to seek political asylum. Travel through the Sahara desert looking for better life.

These leaders lied for over forty years to the people of Eritrea that their Eritrea will be better of in all aspects than their neighboring countries. They went to preach to the extent of Eritreans were special people born in wrong geographical locations and with wrong colors. This is what we call it identity crisis and inferiority complex.

At times when they were told that they are wrong they get berserk and start pulling their guns like the old west.

They changed the one time hard working Eritrean society to beggars and refugees.

They produce more toting gun society than civil society that lives with trust and peace with it neighbors. They create a mini jail called Eritrea to the people ones who used to enjoy the free movement of humane and goods. It is not without merit that the people of Eritrea are having nostalgic sentiment of the previous government of Ethiopia including the dictator regime of Mengistu Hailemariam.

Looking into their past activities it is not surprising what are they doing to day is part of their history.

They chose to be master of terrorists and destabilization force for the neighboring countries. The recent kidnapping of the British diplomats and their Ethiopian accompanies is one example of their plot to discredit the Ethiopian government internationally.

This is not a government but a hybrid of banditry and dictatorship supported by terrorist sympathizers. The holding up of those Ethiopians kidnapped with foreign visitors is not without reason.

It does not require a brain surgeon to know the reason why he is holding these innocent Ethiopians as captives.

a. Either they are killed because of fear of political implication fearing that they will expose that kidnappers were Eritrean military people not as it claimed Affar secessionist forces.

b. He is buying time to bribe them to say they are defectors promising them that they will go abroad.

c. .He will try to hand them to its surrogate powers that are based in Asmara wishing to topple the government from the blessing of Shaebia.

Other than the above reasons time will tell. But the sooner the better to release those innocent Ethiopians.
