
TDA’s very successful Congress
Recently, Tigrai Development Association (TDA) has been successful in uniting and consolidating the efforts of Tigraians towards the development of the region.
This success has been repeated in its 7th Regular Congress conducted from September 2-3/2006 at Mekelle Institute of Technology (MIT). In this historic Congress 175 (72.6%) voting member, 70 non-voting members and 155 observers (representatives of different governmental and non governmental organizations) participated very actively. Among the democratically elected participants were three from North America, three from Europe and three from the Middle East
As it was conducted under the special slogan ’Unity for Development’, almost every body was optimist and it was very successful as expected. Actually, the success of this Congress was more than expected.
