A change of UK policy towards Eritrea?
Eritrea’s Foreign Minister, Osman Saleh, and special political advisor to the President, Yemane Ghebreab, visited the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office for the first time last week at the invitation of the UK Government. Analysts in the UK described the visit as a possible shift in UK policy
In politics there are no permanent enemies or friends. The one man government will work hard to undo what ever was achieved at the UN the same way he did with the Ethio-Sudan-Yemen forum. If London invites the Eritrean regime to be present at the coming conference on Somalia, it is a win for Isaias Afeworki!
