Deputy Prime Minister Adisu Legese and High level Officials from the Amara Region had a very successful meeting In Columbus Ohio.

 
(Sep 1, 2006):-Deputy prime minister Adisu Legese and high level Delegates from the Amara region had a fruitful and meaningful discussion with Columbus Ohio Ethio-Americans and Ethiopian citizens.
 
The meeting was held in Down Town Columbus Hayat Regency and over 60 invited guest were present. Due too a few uncivilized opposition supporters behavior the meeting place has to be changed and organizers said they were happy by the turn out.
 
Deputy Prime Minister briefed the invited guest and went in detail on several issue of national importance.He admonish those opposition supporters who made it  a habit to disrupt meetings and stifle democratic process. He asked every one to learn from the American democratic system to air dissenting views properly, allow views of all sides to be heard.
 
The Deputy Prime Minister also met with the Ohio State College of food, agricultural and environmental science. They discuss on mutual cooperation  and knowledge transfer that could expedite the modernization of Ethiopia's agriculture.
 
Ato Ayelw Gobeze also gave a detail progress report on the Amara region on all fronts. He explained in detail his government next five year plan. Ato Ayalew  explained the vast opportunities.
 
Both Ato Adisu and Ato Ayalew  recognize the potential of the Diaspora community to become a partner in transforming Ethiopia's economy. The meeting was a huge success according to organizers.
