Ferahsya Aserte Betru!

Commentary on the Vocal Diaspora also know as Kinijit supporters!

(Aigaforum Nov 13, 2006):- We heard a story about one of our brave soldier heroic deeds during the Italian invasion at Adwa way back. It was a story of a person name Awalom who tricked the Italians to enter an ambush zone where the brave Ethiopians were waiting. After getting whipped the Italians started to shout Awalom! Awalom! The answer in Tigringa from Awalom was ...Nisika Etwelos Aynwalo!" (I do not wish   the predicament you will be in to any one).So today we say to the vocal Diaspora who have been tearing each other and forming one leadership after the other, we pity you.

The Shaleqa group has formed its own leadership committee for North America(KNA). It even went further to form Kinijit International Council (KNC) to replace Kinijit International (KIL), bare with us with all the names. Here comes another group forming their own KNA group and soon their own Kinijit International.

No one knows how much money has been embezzled but it is in the hundreds of thousands. The anti Shaleqa group is planning to investigate more and the last word is yet to be heard.

The intriguing part in all of this is now that Kinijit Diaspora is dispersed who the OLF will stick to form the AFD. Sources say it is likely the OLF will stick with the Shaleqa group since the Andargachew/Berhnu group is very close to Dr Berhanu who many believe is not fun of the OLF and the whole approach to an armed struggle. Andargachew and Dr Berhanu were veteran members of the EPRP who fought the TPLF in the late seventies and knows what armed struggle is all about.

Among the new KNA leadership elected against the wishes of Shaleqa Yoseph are many who are young and inexperienced. It is unlikely they will garner the support of the old guards. For this group to make any headway in to the typical kinijit supporters in North America they will have to show their independence from individuals who are known for their venomous and divisive propaganda. The likes of Ethiopian Review are few among the undesired elements this group has to distance itself.  Many of those PhD's who supported Kinijt early on have gone voiceless disgusted and ashamed they were taken for a ride.

Mean while, Negat Radio owner Demise is planning to air his radio program form Asmara starting this coming December. Demis was quoted to have said to his supporters it is his way or the highway. Realizing the whole AFD fiasco is coming to an end Shaibya has decided to stick with Demise for propaganda purpose.  At the same time former supporters of Demise are thinking to yet again start an internet radio. This brings us back to the wise “behila” Ferhasya Aserte betru (The fearful will have ten sticks in his hand during a fight).
