Ethio media editor Lulit goes haywire with one of her readers. Is this free press would look like in CUD Ethiopia.
Dear Lulit:
All I did was send you an article of mine that appeared in AIGA FORUM, REMEMBER THE MESSAGE OF THE 9TH OF SEPTEMBER!, to appear on your site too.
Shame on you! The least you could do was acknowledge receipt of my letter and politely decline to publish it. Instead you showed your arrogance and undemocratic principles of all places in the good old US of A. Do you think you will hide under that newspaper and spread your hateful politics in this country? What editor of an esteemed (sic) blog will respond like this to its audience. Which school did you go to?
Worse of all, you have the nerve to call me a misfit! This is what you said "Stay at AIGA with your likes. I don't want to hear from any misfit" You don't even know me. But you just invited me to know you more. I may not write as well as you do, but I know my democratic rights very well and I will teach you a thing or two.
The democratic movement we started in Ethiopia will not be side tracked by opportunists like you hiding under the guise of free press.
The gloves are on! let the fight begin, democratically speaking that is.

From: Lulit Mesfin <lulit@ethiomedia.com> We are not running a blog but a hugely respected, professional and trusted web site. Whatever you fulminate about does not cut muster with us. Don't contact me again unless you want your e-mail to land in my trash folder LulitDear Lulit Mesfin:
I know I am taking chances that this may land in your trash folder before you read it. But I could not pass the temptation of handing it to you in a silver platter. Which part of this article don't you like? or do I have major compeltion from plenty of salivating and truthful articles landing on your web site (sic), like those of Prof Al Mariam, for instance. Or do you not have tolerance for a certain segment of our Ethiopian community, wanting to express itself in a format slightly different than want you want.
These articles and a lot more that will follow, will appear on Aiga Forum, Medrek, Nazreth.com and many others. Please do take time to read them. You many learn a thing or two, for free. May be better education than the one you got from the place where they gave you that fake journalism diploma.
Thank you for reading this.

Very sloppy! Pay attention to detail. I hear you are a
pediatrician in the DC area, I hope you don't misspel
when you write prescriptions or notes on your patient's
charts. It will be a deadly mistake!!!
LulitSo you are reading it after all! or did the recycle bin spit it up to you. I know I write sloppy, it goes with the profession. Fortunately we don't write prescriptions these days. It is all computerized. I do however, want to attend a writing seminar. Any suggestions? keza behuala anchin ayadirigegn. That is Amharic for be prepared for a come back. What a pest! If I get one more unsolicited e-mail from you, I'll consider it harassment and you are going to hear from my attorney!
Hirut
Bring him on! You and your empty threats. I should be the one harassed in this instance.
